DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS SERVICES
SPECIAL EVENT PARKING REQUEST FORM
VCU Parking and Transportation Services encourages our customers who would like to provide parking for groups of ten or more to submit the Special Event Parking Request Form as far in advance as possible so we may accommodate your parking needs. We would suggest making arrangements at least ten days prior to your scheduled event to avoid any potential conflicts with other parking requests already received. Once your request is received by VCU Parking and Transportation Services, the Special Events Coordinator will contact you to confirm your parking arrangements. The Special Events Coordinator can be reached at 828-6585 if you have any questions about special event parking. VCU Parking and Transportation Services appreciates your business.
Guidelines for your parking requests:
1.
Complete and submit the request form below.
2.
Once your parking arrangements have been confirmed by the Special Events Coordinator, exit coupons will be provided to you to distribute to your guests. Only VCU Parking and Transportation Services issued exit coupons will be accepted by cashiers unless other special arrangements have been made.
3.
VCU Parking and Transportation Services require prepayment by credit card for all transactions less than $500. Those University departments whose transaction exceeds $500 may prepare a journal voucher in Banner for the amount due. The journal voucher is initiated by the requesting department prior to receiving the exit coupons. For more information regarding the journal voucher process, please contact the Special Events Coordinator.
4.
For events requesting 200 or more parking spaces, VCU Parking and Transportation Services require at least one VCU Enforcement and Safety Officer be on site. In the event that over 500 spaces are reserved, at least two Officers are necessary. Additional Officers are available upon request. There is a $20 per hour charge for each VCU Enforcement and Safety Officer.
5.
Overnight parking requests are handled separately. Please contact the Special Events Coordinator for more information.
6.
Guests without a VCU Parking and Transportation Services exit coupon, an authorized VCU parking permit, or event permit, will be charged the daily rate.
Thank you for letting VCU Parking and Transportation Services ease your parking woes!
