Greater Richmond Transit Company and Virginia
Commonwealth University have joined forces to provide students with easy
access to convenient transportation around Richmond with the GRTC Student Transit Pass Program.
VCU Parking & Transportation is offering free transit passes to all full-time students in the 2009 fall semester.
Full-time status is defined as an undergraduate student registered for 12 or more credit hours or a graduate student
registered for 9 or more credit hours. The passes are accepted on most GRTC buses. Passes can be reserved online or
at a parking customer service office. On the Monroe Park Campus, the office is located at 1108A W. Broad St. Office hours are Monday
through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. On the VCU Medical Center, the customer service office is located at the 8th Street Parking
Deck, 659 N. 8th St., first level. Office hours are 7am to 6:30pm. To reserve your transit pass online, a valid VCU eID and password is required.
Students must present their VCUCard at the Parking Office to obtain the transit pass. To reserve your transit
