Customer comments received via the Internet will be shared with the appropriate departmental manager for the specific area. This information will be used to evaluate and rate programs within the Department of Business Services. Communication will only be made upon request of the submitter, who will be contacted by the department’s representative. No information will be disseminated outside of the university.
Order forms submitted will only be used to the extent necessary to properly fill the order. Submitters may be contacted if there is a problem with or a question regarding a specific order received. Submitters may choose to get on future mailing list highlighting specials that may be offered by the specific department for which they are placing an order. No unrequested solicitations shall be sent to the submitter.
Occasionally VCU Business Services conducts online surveys. This information is gathered and the general results may be shared with outside contractors or consultants. No personal information identifying individuals shall be shared with consultants or contractors unless prior permission has been obtained from the participants.
For online giveaways and prizes, recipients shall be contacted using the information they provided in the online survey, quiz, etc. The personal information gathered will only be used to contact winners of prizes/giveaways.
No information obtained via the Internet will be shared or sold to persons or companies outside the university.
